Case Study: Invention Studios
Invention use Engino to manage the marketing, sale and administration of music, theatre and comedy performances. Audience members can book events, then just bring along their credit card and a print-out of their automatic confirmation e-mail as proof of purchase on the door.
Members can also profile themselves by interest group so that Invention administrators can send them the most relevant promotional e-newsletters - and not bother them with irrelevant ones.
Now that the community has been established, high-profile events have sold out online, simply by e-mailing a promotional bulletin to all of the people who have previously expressed an interest in, say, comedy. This has hugely reduced the marketing effort required to get bums on seats.

Our Profile Manger module allows users to:
- Edit their own contact details
- Change their eNewsletter preferences
- Place themselves in and out of interest groups
- View previously placed orders
- Download previously downloaded documents
- Manage an address book
- Manage a "wallet" of credit cards

Key feature: eNewsletters
Engino can be used to send plain text or rich HTML eNewsletters to selected groups in your community. When paired with the profile manager described above, this allows you to only send newsletters that are relevant to the preferences entered by your users.

Key feature: Event sales and management
Invention use Engino entirely to manage their events, with one "website" interface for members/customers and one for the office administrators. The venue is going through a quiet patch for refurbishment at the moment, so we've created another demo site for you to look at. The events shown in the demo were genuine events but they took place a year earlier than the date shown. Feel free to play with the site and purchase any "tickets" that you wish - no genuine transactions will take place and you can use dummy credit card information.
